There are opportunities to hike among the giant Redwoods, stroll along deserted beaches, discover isolated fern grottos fed by cascading water falls, or meander though a unusual pygmy forest. Birding - Coastal Mendocino offers birders a unique opportunity to see many species of birds, and often rare birds that make short, unexpected visits our shore and Nature Preserve.
