Mendocino Coast Hotels ~ Main House

The Lighthouse Inn features six beautiful and unique period-furnished guest rooms, four upstairs in the Head Light keeper's house and two handicapped accessible Garden Rooms. All rooms have private bathroom, queen beds with luxurious linens, cozy sitting areas and private temperature controls. Whether your room overlooks the Nature Preserve, coastal headlands, or the Lightkeeper's gardens, all have ocean view.

Our Rooms:

Lighthouse Room - $272* - double occupancy
The second largest room in the Head Lightkeeper's house. It overlooks the restored 1909 Lighthouse with its working 3rd Order Fresnel lens (blackout shades provided). This is the best room for views of storm surge waves, sunsets, sea lions, and whales.

Lightkeeper's Room - $272* - double occupancy
The largest room in the main house with the most expansive view of the ocean, Nature Preserve and Mendocino headlands. Its 3 large windows open up to views of deer foraging, the creeping ashore of fog, and the crash of winter waves upon the headlands. Nothing can compare.

Pacific View Room - $193* - double occupancy
This room offers views of the ocean, 100-year old Monterrey Cypress trees, the Nature Preserve, and the reef and tidal surges that sank the Frolic (a 150-year old ship wreck), and the Caspar Headlands beyond.

Headlands Room - $177* - double occupancy
This room affords great wildlife viewing and Headland's and Nature Preserve vistas. Deer browse, White-tailed Kites hover in the air, and Northern Harriers soar right past the windows. The ocean wraps around the picturesque Point Cabrillo headlands, so there are lovely views all the way to the headlands of Mendocino.
