The Cottages (East and West Garden Rooms)
Enjoy a relaxing stay in the garden level cottages (fully handicapped accessible). Both cottages have large private baths and adjoining patios, and include ocean and headland vistas. These large, private rooms also feature cozy sitting areas, cedar open-beamed ceilings, radiant heating, and individual temperature controls.
These private cottages have been newly restored, featuring period antiques and fantastic amenities, and are located in close proximity to the Head Lightkeeper's House. Enjoy a special getaway in one of our cottages, and join us each morning in the Inn's beautiful dining room for a five-course gourmet breakfast, which includes organic Lightkeeper's coffee or blended teas designed especially for our guests.

Join us between 4:00 - 5:00 each afternoon for wine and hors d'ouvres, and then take a private night time tour of the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse (with unique views of the working 3rd Order Fresnel lens) with the current Lightkeeper. Later, while sitting on your private patio, listen to the waves crash upon the headlands while watch millions of stars march and shoot across the majestic evening sky. During the day, guests can take quiet walks along the 3.5 miles of hiking trails of the Nature Preserve, or venture into Pottery Cove to find pieces of Chinese pottery still washing up from the historic Frolic shipwreck.
