SAVE THE DATES!

The Point Cabrillo Light Keeper’s Association is proud to announce our upcoming History, Marine Science and Whale Docent training schedule for 2012.  These excellent opportunities are coming your way in February 2012.

The Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park offers a variety of volunteer opportunities.  It’s a tremendously fun place to be. You may volunteer in the 1909 Light House, help with Whale Festival (March 3-4 and 17-18, 2012), take visitors on tours of the 300-acre State Park and Nature Preserve (June-Labor Day), interpret Marine Science, help in the office with data entry and volunteer record keeping, or show off and interpret the history of the First Assistant Light Keeper’s Home.

Whether you are an existing volunteer or want to explore opportunities at Point Cabrillo Light Station, plan to attend one or all of the activities listed below.  Even if you aren’t sure you want to join the crew, come and check us out, learn something new, meet some of our current volunteers and enjoy yourself.
